Christmas time, mistletoe and whine.

That was the immediate thought that hit me when I saw some of the social media responses to the news that Southampton had signed Dutch winger Eljero Elia.

Before Elia can take part though Saints have the small matter of a trip to South London and then the visit of the league leaders.
